Deschutes Rim Health Clinic News
The clinic is now open for business and has been since September 4. We are taking new patients and are eager to provide necessary medical care to the community. Our winter hours of operation are Monday 10-5, Tues/Thurs/Friday 9-5, Wed 10-5. Summer hours are inexistence for 2008, please call for hours.
For those of you who have been sending tax deductible donations, please accept our public thank you, in addition to our personal one. We have set up a special account for these donations, which will allow us to start a nest egg from which we can draw, as needed, to keep the clinic in operation and purchase needed equipment.
We have several goals in mind for the clinic and its expansion of services over the next few years—your donations will allow us to build towards these goals.
If you would like to donate—any amount, please make your check out to: White River Health District dba Deschutes Rim Health Clinic, P. O. Box 266, Maupin, OR 97037. Or, you can drop off your check at the clinic: we are located at 1605 George Jackson Road. We will send you a receipt for your taxes. We will also take your unused/unopened/non-expired medications and/or medical supplies, which gives us supplies for local people without insurance coverage.
Our location is off Highway 197 at Blue Rock Road, on the north rim above Maupin. We are next door to Canyon Rim Manor Assisted Living Center.
